Anthi Pots are handmade by craftsmen whose skills have been honed over generations.

With it's perfect geographical situation and blessed with rich natural resources, the mountainous Island of Crete has had a merchant economy for millenia. Ancient Cretan pots were functional storage vessels, known as pithoi, and their manufacture was perfected by the Minoans, a Bronze Age civilisation which flourished on Crete over 4500 years ago. Many of these ancient pithoi have been excavated from archaeological sites throughout Europe and in Egypt, a testament to their durability.
Each Cretan Pot is a unique work of art, which will improve with age and patina, an asset which will last you for generations. |
